About the No Suprises Act and Good Faith Estimate Policy

It is your right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” that details how much your laboratory testing will cost.

  • Under the law, patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance may have the right to an estimate of the bill for our laboratory services upon request or if they schedule an appointment with their clinician at least 3 days in advance.
  • This pricing for all laboratory services is provided to your clinician’s office enabling them to provide you a Good Faith Estimate.
  • It is your clinician’s office responsibility to provide that Good Faith Estimate directly to you if you don’t have insurance or if you are not using your insurance.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate (for laboratory services), you can dispute the bill.
